LIMBIC CHAIR® CUSTOM SHELLS
One of the crucial functional elements of the Limbic Chair is its pair of shells. The shells are designed to hold you in a position where you feel weightless, while enticing you to move. After experimenting with dozens of different shapes, we have designed two shell templates for our customers: Soft and Move. Both types encourage ‘incentivized movements,’ allowing for an optimal seating experience that is positive and healthy for both your body and mind.
A Limbic Life specialist will work with you to adapt the basic shell of your choice to your exact needs. Each pair of shells is hand made from carbon fiber in Switzerland. We chose carbon fiber because it is light, durable, elegant, and has ideal heat-conducting properties for a chair.

LIMBIC CHAIR CUSTOM CHASSIS
The chassis of the Limbic Chair is assembled by hand from pieces of milled aluminum blocks and high strength steel for optimal performance and durability. The chassis is the same for all Limbic Chairs, but the flexible rubber elements of the suspension will be tuned to your needs. The foot of the chair can be selected from silver, black, or compact. The column can be selected high or regular. High columns are recommended for height adjustable desks.
LIMBIC CHAIR CUSTOM COLOR OPTIONS
The standard color option for the carbon fiber shells is unpainted, so that their natural and elegant carbon fiber texture comes out. If you wish, the carbon fiber shells can be painted in any color or color combination you like. Logos, leather covers, or mosaic inlays are also possible.
The standard color option for the chassis is black, but it can be customized to a selection of different color options. The aluminum pieces can be anodized in a selection of colors, and the steel pieces can be painted in any color of your choice.
